These people just called me at work and said they had a summons for me, and I had 2 hours to call back at David Right (sp?) at Kline (sp?) & Associates or I will get a failure to appear. Is this real? Has anyone had any results from calling or not calling in 2 hours? I don't want to be issued a warrant, but I don't want to be scammed either!

Calling for my husband. Left no company name or reference as to what it was regarding. Oddly enough, they didn't aske me to have him call back, they asked me to call back even though they were looking for him.

Yes, this phone number had been harrassing me in the past. Just to let people online know who received this phone call from this number..This is a con artist trying to cause trouble and lying pretending to be someone else. He is doing this to ladies, expecially in yahoo chat. Be careful of this man. If you are in yahoo chat rooms, and you see a yahoo ID: bradysmoke2007, be extra careful of him. He is pretending to be Art Anderson age 44, from Oakland, CA. He is also married.

Claiming to be US Census Bureau, kept us on the phone for over an hour. Collected a TON of VERY personal information, mostly about my mother. Mind you, my mother and myself, along with 3 small children live here, this is my grandmother's house.

I'm with rogers for my phone service I received the same type of call with that number. I immediately call the customer service Rogers to report this call, all they can tell me is that it is a disconnected number The question should have asked is: Who has the control of these phone systems? Nothing to reassure me to use my phone again

Trying to sell electric power.

I keep recieving calls from this number. I am aware of the scams out there is there anyway I can block this number.

If they call before 8 am or after 9 pm; or you send the stop call letter, I posted above, and they still call you - then you have grounds to file a lawsuit for Fair Debt Collection Practices Act violations. I plan to file based on them calling on weekends which is also a violation of the law.

He keeps calling about a credit card debt that we never had. He was willing to make a deal on the spot if I would give him my s.s# and my credit card # since he said he had all of my other info except these numbers. He stated that we were already served papers regarding this debt ,which is a lie! He called again 1 week later an said on the answering machine that we would be served papers ? and that he would see us in court.
